Use portrait mode of mobile photo to shoo nice portrait
At present, many mobile phone cameras have been very mature, many of them have been quite intelligent, there are many kinds of Settings mode, such as food mode, sports mode, portrait mode and so on... But these modes are not fool mode, they are actually a trick to use, below we take portrait mode as the theme, (ios system as an example) to introduce you.
1. Take professional portraits in portrait mode
Before I start, I want to ask you, do you know what portrait mode is for? You will certainly answer: portrait as the name suggests, of course this is true, but have you ever looked into portrait patterns?
When you shoot in portrait mode, the camera automatically identifies the subject and the background, and then automatically blurs the background, at the same time, making the subject clear. You can compare the background blur of the following photos:
In the field of mobile photography, this is very good portrait photography. This is one of the advantages of portrait mode, which can highlight the subject more clearly and make the photo have a more obvious depth of field. So why does the depth of field have such a great impact on the photo? Now let's continue our analysis.
2. Influence of depth of field on portrait
In most cases, the depth of field often determines the effect of a portrait photograph. Depth of field (doff) is an amazing factor, and by creating a blurry background, it can highlight the subject and bring the subject into view at once. When you're shooting in a cluttered background, the depth of field comes into full play and is a great way to grab the reader's attention. For example, the photos below look better and have a more pronounced depth of field. This emphasizes both the theme and the context. Thus, depth of field plays a key role in portrait mode.
3. How to use portrait mode
Here we take phone portrait mode as an example to tell you about the techniques used!
Open the local camera, select camera mode, and slide to portrait mode. When portrait mode is switched, the viewfinder of the screen becomes larger, because portrait mode USES the camera's telephoto lens, which needs to get closer to the scene and capture more details.
But "portrait mode" isn't just for the back shot; it can also be used for selfish.
So what do we need to be aware of when using portrait mode?
Now, let's talk about a few key points of human image shooting:
First, there should be enough light to shoot in low-light environments. If the light is not enough, a message appears on the screen and you cannot continue shooting. Second, your subject must be at a certain distance from the camera lens, at least two feet away, or you won't be able to go any further.
4.Use the lighting mode in portrait mode to shoot
What are the various lighting patterns? What's the use of that? Different lighting patterns allow you to create more diverse, professional, and diverse portraits.
When you select a certain mode of light, the camera itself will process it immediately after you take the photo. What you see is the photo effect corresponding to that mode. Different patterns have different effects, it may make your face brighter, it may also increase the shadow, make your face more three-dimensional.
Using portrait mode can make your photos more professional, and you can change the lighting mode according to the specific situation to take corresponding portrait photos.
If you want to highlight the details or main body of an object, select studio light or outline light. If you're looking for dramatic effects, go for "stage light," and if it's just a normal portrait shoot, go for "natural light."
5.Change the depth of field to create a more professional portrait
So how do you do that? Open the finished portrait photo and click edit. Notice the slider at the bottom of the screen at the bottom. You should see the aperture value. Slide to the right and the background starts to blur. Slide left and the background becomes clearer. But notice that the larger the aperture, the clearer the background; conversely, the smaller the aperture, the more blurry the background.
6. How to reasonably use "portrait mode" for shooting
There are two points to pay attention to when shooting with human image mode: the first is the distance between the background and the subject; the second is the selection of shooting background type.
Portrait mode works best when your subject is away from the background. The farther away the subject is from the background, the more blurry the background looks and the more prominent the focus.
Please note the difference in the degree of background blur between the following two photos: the distance between the subject and the background of the photo on the left is close; the one on the right is obviously at a distance, and obviously the one on the right works relatively well.
In addition, the type of background is important. If there is a lack of detail in the background, the effect will not be visible even if the background is blurred. For example, in the following picture, my subject is standing in front of a white wall:
I shot it in portrait mode. However, the background doesn't look blurry because no details can be blurry. But in the photo below, there are more details behind the theme, so the blurring effect is obvious.
After watching these 6 points, portrait mode, do you understand? After taking the notebook to write down, might as well pick up the mobile phone, shooting!
