Use a mobile phone to take a unique flower photo
Flowers are one of our favorite subjects to shoot. They are planted at home and met in roadside parks. Friends can't help but take out their mobile phones and take a few pictures as a souvenir. Flowers are quite common, but it takes a lot of work to get a good picture. Here are 6 flower photography tips to help you photograph more beautiful flowers.
1. Look for interesting spots
In addition to being a pretty flower, more interesting things happen to the flower than to the flower itself. The water droplets will gather and then drop down, a gust of wind will blow to the side, the bee or butterfly will fall on it, and even the flowers will begin to wither, forming a new kind of scenic spot. So look for extra little spots that flowers have that will help you make a difference.
2. Use light
Flower photography is usually shot in soft light, which can better restore the texture of the flower. You can use scattered light on cloudy days and sunsets to cover the entire flower in shadow. However, if you want to be creative with flowers, you can go the other way and use direct light to create dramatic scenes with high contrast.
3. Make good use of composition
The impact of a single flower is much better than a bunch of messy flowers, so try to find a clean background while shooting. The three-part method is the most concise and effective, and the most widely applicable method of flower composition. The principle is that you can imagine four lines, two vertical, and two horizontal, forming nine odd rectangles, and then placing the main body at the intersections. This composition rule will help you get a compelling picture.
4. Blur the background
If you're photographing a group of flowers, focus on the foreground while keeping the background fuzzy. If there are fewer flowers in the foreground than in the background, this will ensure that your image has more themes in focus. Blurring the background on your phone is as simple as approaching an object, clicking on the screen to focus on the subject, and then pressing the shutter button to take a picture. This creates a blurry image.
5. Make sure you capture the color
When you think of flowers, the first thing you probably think of is their colorful colors. To capture color in the best light, go outside during prime time or on slightly cloudy days. To capture vibrant colors, you need vibrant light, but don't confuse it with strong or direct light. You can adjust the exposure before shooting flowers and then shoot again.
The phone's exposure adjustment method is simple. You just click on the screen where the subject is to be focused, the exposure will adjust itself, and then you can also adjust the exposure by sliding the slider up and down. Swiping up will make the image brighter, while swiping down will make the image darker.
6.Shoot from multiple angles
Most people are standing next to the flowers, and they probably shoot straight ahead. However, I think you can shoot from multiple angles, like in a popular garden or at a flower show, and you can shoot up, not only to capture the flowers and the sky, but also to avoid the crowds.
Anyone can take a picture of a flower, especially in cool weather, and people like to go outside and take pictures of the flowers. It takes time and patience to find the right composition to make a difference in your shots. Flowers may be common, but flower photography is different.
