Take stunning travel photos

I like looking at travel photos very much, but I find that many travel photos are the same. People like to use cabins, rocks, flowers and sand as the foreground, lakes and oceans as the central focus, and changeable clouds as the background. I have to admit I do it a lot myself. But don't think these pictures will impress the audience. We need to break out of this cycle and try to take pictures from different angles. Here are 5 tips to help you take amazing travel photos.

1. Focus on life segments

Before arriving at a new place, we see so many pictures from postcards, websites and travel books that once we get there, we want to photograph the beautiful buildings, monuments and sights we encounter along the way. But these are not necessarily the soul of the place.

2. Look for pictures combining old and new

We are so drawn to historical scenes from a long time ago that we all have a historical obsession with going back in time to film them, but that's not possible. Imagine yourself in 50,100 years, and if you look closely at your surroundings, you'll see a lot of violent clashes between the old and the new.

3. Don't just focus on the color of the sunset

Sunsets are gorgeous, but also tacky. At sunset, the golden ones look pretty much the same no matter how many hundred you take.

4. Document amazing journeys with detailed pictures

If you have embarked on an amazing journey, first check out your entourage, then take a simple picture of the details before you start your journey. Just as this is a challenging bike trip, there is no need or need to stop and take pictures of the scenery along the way. It is no different from "I was here". Photograph the start of your journey, a story - filled detail, and hit the road!

5. Photograph the locals

The locals are the best way to give your readers a true sense of the place, so be sure to film them! Documenting their daily lifestyle, these pictures should be taken in a more comprehensive way, such as integrating people with the environment, close-up details and, preferably, an entire story.

These 5 tips don't tell you not to take typical travel photos, but to remember to always put yourself in the unusual position of taking unique travel photos that stand out from the crowd.
