Take a good shot of flowers
Flowers, this is an eternal shoot theme, will never be out of date, it has no seasonal restrictions, canvas prints can be shot all the year round, each season is different. Today, my family will talk about some knowledge of flower shooting. I hope you can combine these knowledge to create satisfactory works.
1. Flower shooting time
The best time of day for flowers is in the morning and evening, when the sun is low and the light is soft, so the exposure is easy to control and the picture will be better.
2. Use aperture priority mode
In addition to manual shooting, canvas prints online we can also use automatic mode to shoot flowers. In order to show the depth of field of flowers, we use aperture priority mode for shooting. We only need to set the aperture value according to the requirements of the scene effect, and then we will leave the rest to the camera, which is a very useful and practical mode.
3. In the camera's display, it's better to be dark
When we shoot in bright sunshine, it is easy to cause overexposure, which will cause the details of the photo to be lost. In order to avoid such a mistake, we can check the picture of the camera display screen to see if there is any exposure or highlight. The safer way is to darken the picture, so you can be sure. If the final picture is dark, we can use post-production to brighten it up. But if you have a partial exposure in the early stage, it's not so easy.
4. Shoot flowers without flash
For flowers, flash is not recommended, just use natural light. Using flash will dark the background, unless you want a unique style.
5. How to create a soft floral effect
If you want the floral effect to be soft, we can shoot flowers in the shadow cast by trees, houses and other objects.
6. How do you shoot flowers in reverse light
Backlighting is a good option, but backlighting is tricky. The sun can't appear directly in the lens, making the exposure difficult to control. We don't usually put the sun in the viewfinder, large canvas prints and even when we do, we don't put the sun directly in front of the camera, we put the sun behind a tree trunk or a branch, so we can get fantastic pictures of flowers.
