find interesting strangers

Keep an eye out for cool, interesting people and don't be afraid to ask if they can get a portrait taken. Use open body language, or smile, or give them a compliment and ask if they have time for me to take a picture of you. Offer to share the photo with them when it's done, and nine out of 10 times they'll say yes. Remember, don't lose heart if you get rejected and move on to the next interesting goal.

use long exposures wisely

Don't be afraid to experiment with photography on the street. For example, you can use long exposures in different scenes. This image USES a one-second exposure. I was attracted by the coats and dogs of the people in the picture, and I wanted a sense of dynamic movement. Long exposure can exaggerate the difference. However, a camera with a camera body or lens to prevent shaking is better for this type of photo.
