Four principles of photographic composition
"1. Horizontal and vertical"
When we see something that is supposed to be horizontal in our impression, canvas prints such as the horizon line of the earth (sea), but if the picture is not kept horizontal, people will feel uncomfortable instinctively. Although they will not find the problem in the first place, they will often express "I don't like this picture very much". Not only in the horizontal direction, but also in the vertical direction, such as the buildings in the picture. It doesn't take much skill to get the level straight, straight, and smooth. Just pay more attention to the balance of the background in the back when shooting the scene. When framing, consciously make the rear horizontal line (ground/sea) parallel to the reference line, or directly make the horizontal line coincide with the reference line to complete the visual horizontal composition.
"2. Check the edge"
Another annoying omission of composition is that people often ignore the triviality and clutter of the edges of the picture, online canvas prints which often distracts the audience and ruins the purity of the picture. Post-production can certainly be eliminated, but why not avoid it from the beginning?
Some trees branches, lighting and other sundry, an inattentive will be in the mirror, so when the view, also need to leave a heart. A slight shift, or simply taking the scene from a different Angle, panorama canvas print is a good way to avoid problems. Make it a habit to take your eye off the edge of the frame after focusing and measuring the light.
"3. Cross stacking"
When two things without direct connection intersect or overlap in the picture, a new visual connection will be formed. For example, in the following picture, try to catch the egret perched on the wooden post. You can see that the head of the bird mixes with the dark part of the river grass on the other side, and the outline is not clear enough. Move to the side of a small slope to re-frame the scene and shoot from a slightly high Angle, increasing the proportion of the river background so that the bird's profile does not coincide with the river grass, resulting in a better picture. It's not always possible to find the best location for an outdoor shoot, but patience can make up for that. Photograph the flying crane flying, but the two wings are folded together, affecting the display of the form. After a few seconds of waiting, the crane changes its position and movements to capture the individual and powerful image.
4. Background simplification
Needless to say, the subject is hard to stand out in a cluttered background. Therefore, there are different ways to avoid distracting elements in the background as much as possible. Switch angles. Slight Angle difference is probably the difference between good and mediocre films.
In the digital age, most photography enthusiasts are shooting more and more frequently. There is no denying that shooting is more convenient and free, but many people ignore the problem of time cost.
If you slow down a bit and think a bit more about your composition, you won't have to spend a lot of time remedying your lack of shot in the post. This is not to make you think about it and try to shoot one, but you should look back at the material and try to shoot new scenes.
Ask yourself: horizontal vertical, should be flat, should be straight? Have the edges been cleaned up? Does the body group have cross superposition? Finally, acrylic mounting online what else can be cleaned out of the picture?
