5 ways to make your subject stand out

Later in the process, canvas prints when we encounter some photos too dark or the subject is not outstanding, always want to adjust the photo exposure value at first, but too dependent on adjusting exposure, can directly or indirectly damage the quality of the pictures. Teach you five ways, let everybody get photos of subject prominent at the same time, it won't destroy the quality of its own.

Adjusting the exposure value will compress the dynamic range of the photo itself, canvas prints online australia and too much adjustment will make the photo itself look unrealistic and have a fake feeling, especially when looking at thumbnails. In order to meet these problems in the later stage, Jonathan gives the following five methods.

1. Adjust the white balance

Adjusting the white balance properly can make the main area stand out, but it doesn't just mean which parameters you raise, it also means which parameters you lower, large canvas which is relatively synchronous. 2. Increase saturation

Adding saturation also makes the main area of the image stand out. Therefore, you can use either a local adjustment brush or a radial brush to increase the saturation of the selected area of the image. Similarly, you can desiderate areas that are not just the subject but also the focus. But be careful not to overdo it or the whole thing will look out of whack.

3. Adjust the shadow value reasonably

This method is very work! For your body, sometimes always inevitably have too many details, then you need appropriate adjustment, and the method is to adjust the shadow before, the choice of a little bit amplification area, and reasonable adjustments, you will find in the selected area and did not choose the border area, seems with faint halo effect, very delicate!

4. Improve contrast

We can also adjust the contrast appropriately. Adjusting the contrast will make the color more saturated; the exposure of the subject more balanced with the overall image, and makes the photo more realistic.

5. Raise the white level

This last method, and Jonathan's favorite, is to raise the white level. This is a great way to increase the overall "brightness" of the image without affecting the highlights and shadows, sunset beach painting or you can try to combine this with the first adjustment of the white balance, which will make your main area more dazzling!
