5 tips for creating abstract photos
Many people who like photography usually take pictures of landscapes, portraits and so on. However, after looking at these pictures, you may feel that you are always lack of originality. In fact, you can also use the lens shot with the sense of art abstract photos, not only can add some interesting works for your photo collection, but also can be printed out to become home decoration! Here are 5 tips for making abstract art photos.
Move the camera
When learning photography at the beginning, taking clear pictures is a very important skill, but sometimes it is advisable to slow down the shutter deliberately and move the camera purposefully, so that you can take more artistic photos! But be careful when shooting: a slow shutter speed can lead to overexposure, requiring a smaller aperture and a lower ISO. When moving, it is better to move along the track (such as vertically or in a circle), otherwise the photo may become too messy. The same scene, you can try a faster or slower shutter, you can shoot a different effect!
Shoot moving objects
Sense, as the first point is to make artistic through mobile photos, but this is not mobile camera itself, it is to shoot the moving objects, such as walking in the car, the dog playing, etc., the shutter of the camera can be adjusted according to the speed of moving objects, if moving objects is very fast, the camera shutter not too slow, otherwise the whole picture will give very fuzzy (unless you are deliberately to do so). If the camera moves in the direction of the object at the moment the shutter is pressed, the background will become blurry and the subject clear.
Let the picture be tidier
You may think that the above two types of shooting need more flexible shooting skills, but in fact it is a good way to take artistic photos, remove the unwanted things in the photos, take a very clean picture, and do not need additional shooting techniques! A useful technique is to use a telephoto lens to capture small parts of an environment, such as a small spray on a beach, or a small area of common objects.
Shoot through other objects
It is also a common technique to shoot through other objects, such as plastic bottles, glass, or even leaves, grass, liquid, etc. Let your creative juices flow!
Make good use of multiple exposures
Now a lot of digital cameras also have the function of Multiple exposure, as long as you open the relevant options, and then take two or more objects, so that different pictures are exposed in the same photo, so combined will become more abstract and artistic! The important thing to keep in mind, however, is to keep the black/dark areas to expose the next image, and to reduce the amount of exposure to ensure that the final image is not overexposed.
Photography is an art at the end of the day. It is difficult for beginners to take abstract photos at the beginning, but the most important thing is to keep trying. The camera is just a tool to record the idea before pressing the shutter button. Practice this subject as much as you can, and it's great for your observational training!
