If you want to take great mountain views, printing on canvas the best time to do it is on a hike. Keep in mind, though, that photographing in the mountains can lead to many unexpected challenges. Here are some tips to help you avoid some of the difficulties in your next hike.

Don't waste your time on the golden hour

Generally, photos onto canvas the best time to take a picture of the scenery is within an hour after sunrise or before sunset. The scenery at this time will be very charming and full of changes under the ever-changing sunlight. However, if you want to wait for prime time to shoot in the mountains, you might miss it altogether or find its effects less magical than you might think. Use a gradient gray filter

The light in the mountains is more complex, and you often have problems with overexposure of the sky or lack of detail in the shadows. That's why gradient gray filters are necessary. Using a gradient grey filter, you can balance the exposure of the sky with the landscape on the ground, and get even better photos.

Watch for unnatural shadows

During the shoot, you may have to turn your back to the sun and use smooth light to eliminate the shadow of the mountain in front of you. The result, though, could be shadows of trees or other objects on the ground. It's not easy to avoid these unnatural shadows, and you can arrange the composition next to the lake or stream.

Think hard before taking a panoramic photo

As you climb to the top of the mountain, you'll likely see a spectacular panoramic view of the landscape. But no matter how hard you try, it's hard to get pretty pictures. This is because the scene has no clear focus and it is difficult to balance the picture. So, while there's no doubt that the view is spectacular, your photos don't necessarily feel that way.

It is usually better to include objects in the foreground to add balance and depth to the picture. Another problem with panoramic photographs is that the sky tends to color the distant mountains blue. You can use a yellow filter or polarizer to weaken the color, but not eliminate it entirely.

Record the whole scene with super wide Angle

The huge scene can attract the audience, photographs printed on aluminum so you should take some photos like this, otherwise the audience will not appreciate the beautiful scenery you see. Sometimes the trees on the mountain are so high that it is difficult to take a complete picture, and vertical composition can be used.
